Management Unit for the Conservation of Wildlife (UMA)
Name of the UMA: Arctodus.
UMA: Registered with PVSNL and SEMARNAT.
The objective is: To make the public aware of the importance of conservation and respect for wildlife, giving educational talks about snakes and first aid in case of accidents due to bites by poisonous snakes, in addition to conducting theoretical courses and workshops. -Practical training and handling of live snakes, as a safety measure in an emergency, so that trained personnel can remove potentially dangerous specimens without having to sacrifice them, using biological material for demonstration and display.
